Here at Fire It Up BBQ Inc we are a full service barbecue catering company. We do everything from quick deliveries to full size and serviced events. We primarily work outdoors during our busy season (April-September) and hours of operations can vary from day to day. We are always looking for responsible young adults to learn how to master the BBQ and carry out events in a professional manner. Our Catering cooks are also the event lead/team managers responsible for making events run smoothly, driving our cube trucks to and from events, Cooking and displaying large quantities of food for service and keeping support staff productive. A valid Ontario’s G2/G licence is required for this position.

All training will be provided and no prior catering experience is necessary, however any relative experience is very welcomed. We can offer anywhere from 24 to 50+ hours a week. All of our staff will start and end their shift at our unit located in Brampton (Williams Pkwy & Humberwest Pkwy)

Some requirements for this job include but are not limited to:

- set up and tear down of events
- packing and unpacking trucks
- good housekeeping practices (sweeping, mopping, cleaning)
- daily prep
- customer service/client interactions
- ensuring events run smoothly (delegating tasks, cooking food on time, keeping all aspects of the event professional)

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 50 per week
