**Job Description**:
As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will be a part of the team involved in Assembly Operations for all Invinity Energy systems. Our Assemblers are responsible for assembling our products using a variety of tools & assembly methods. To be the ideal Assembler you should willing and able to work at a fast pace within a team environment. All training and tools are provided, although previous experience with electrical/mechanical assembly is required.

**Key Responsibilities / Areas of Accountability**

**Technical**:

- Assembly of vanadium flow battery stacks, modules, and systems
- Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed system while maintaining high quality levels;
- Read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, etc to determine assembly procedures;
- Use hand and power tools as well as material handling equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to fit and install parts and sub-assemblies;
- Review parts received for quality and accuracy to the bill of material;
- Complete tasks on schedule and according to established quality standards;
- Trouble shooting as needed - continuity checks using a multimeter and other diagnostic devices.

**Safety**:

- Demonstrate superior housekeeping in work area plant;
- Understand and follow all health and safety procedures including safe operation of equipment;
- Ability to work in a safe manner and adhere to the rules and regulations under the Health and Safety Act.

**Quality**:

- Responsible for reporting problems or issues as well as non-conformances;
- Determine root cause analysis/troubleshoot and problem solve errors with quality
- Inspect and record part quality utilizing a variety of metrology equipment
- Inline & end of line QC and safety electrical/ mechanical checks, including but not limited to, Pre-FAT, FAT, incoming/outgoing inspection.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest modifications or changes to parts or procedures for continuous improvement initiatives;
- Participate in cost improvement initiatives;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations through LEAN principles

**General**:

- Willingness to help support other job functions within Invinity as required.
- Other tasks as required

- Work effectively in a team with other team members to achieve production and quality goals;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to express ideas in individual and group situations and to work collaboratively in a team.

**Qualifications**:

- High School and/or a post-secondary education in mechanics, hydraulics and/or electrical or certificate in related studies
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Good hand
- eye coordination
- Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Comfortable with operating manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Proven advanced knowledge and skills in multiple disciplines or advanced knowledge and skill in one of the following areas: electrical, hydraulic and/or mechanical;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and/or engineering drawings;
- Proven experience using hand tools, as well as knowledgeable in the operation of instrumentation, sensors and other electro-mechanical components and controls.
- Proven ability to identify and assess problem situations, develop alternative solutions and action those solutions;
- Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain a high productivity level;
- Demonstrated professionalism, drive and flexibility to achieve business goals;
- Demonstrated initiative in training or mentoring other team members;
