**About us**

Johnsen Machine Company was founded in 1961, in Burlington Ontario.

We have maintained an ongoing committment to investing in research & development which have resulted in innovative & high-functioning baling and bagging systems. Our equipment is designed and built in house.

We currently have an opening position for a **Machine Builder** to join our team of machinists and machine fabricators at our on-site facility located in Burlington, Ontario. This role will require you to assemble, dissemble and test JMC' baling, bagging and conveyor systems.

**Job Requirements**:

- Assemble / dissemble mechanical & pneumatic assembly
- Installation of components to sub-assemblies, assemblies and machines through the use of hoists & lift trucks
- Using mills and/or grinders to modify parts
- Ability to read & interpret mechanical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance when required
- Test assemblies to ensure they are in good, working condition
- Overtime & weekend work as required
- Must have complete tool-box with working-condition tools
- Lead & mentor junior shop workers
- Comply with JMC Health & Safety policies & practices

**Qualifications**
- 4+ years working experience in a related field
- Post Secondary diploma is considered an asset.

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
