**Job Summary**:
This role supports the Quality department's continuous operations and success by developing comprehensive inspection reports, analyzing data, and collaborating across departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and create AS 9102 First Article Inspection Reports to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in conducting first article inspections of newly manufactured components or assemblies to verify compliance with design specifications and customer requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to determine product requirements and inspection criteria.
- Document inspection results accurately, including deviations, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
- Create detailed part inspection plans to support ongoing production part inspections.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection activities, including FAI reports and measurement data.
- Analyze inspection data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with planning, production, and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAPs) to address identified issues and ensure effectiveness.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality management systems.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
- **Quality Assurance Expertise**: You understand the intricacies of quality assurance and have experience with AS 9102 First Article Inspections.
- **Analytical Mindset**: You can interpret inspection data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Accuracy in documentation and inspections is critical to maintaining compliance and supporting quality standards.
- **Collaborative Worker**: You can work effectively within cross-functional teams to address and prevent quality issues.
- **Proactive Problem Solver**: You are comfortable identifying opportunities for improvement and leading initiatives to enhance quality processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
