**Hours of Work**:37.5 weekly - 7.5 hours Monday to Friday - flexibility to meet program requirements
The WIM Manager leads the planning, development, and implementation of the Wâhkôhtawin in Motion program. This role coordinates with The Comeback Society (TCS) team, mentors, YWCA Regina’s Homebase, and community partners to deliver land-based, sport, recreation, and cultural programming for youth. The manager oversees scheduling, logistics, safety, data collection, and program evaluation to ensure a high-quality, culturally grounded experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Program Planning & Implementation**
- Develop seasonal and annual program calendars (biking, snowboarding, paddle-boarding, land-based learning, etc.).
- Coordinate and supervise all WIM sessions, events, and group activities.
- Lead risk assessments, safety planning, and activity logistics.
- Manage equipment maintenance, tracking, and purchasing.
**2. Coordination & Relationship Building**
- Work closely with TCS mentors, the BKT team, and Homebase staff to align programming and support youth involvement.
- Build relationships with community partners, instructors, knowledge keepers, recreation facilities, and outdoor organizations.
- Liaise with parents, caregivers, and community agencies as needed.
**3. Data Collection & Reporting**
- Oversee program attendance tracking, evaluation forms, safety logs, and progress indicators.
- Manage data collection tools that capture youth engagement, outcomes, and feedback.
- Prepare monthly summaries and updates for TCS leadership and funders.
- Work with the TCS Administrator to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
**4. Staff & Mentor Support**
- Coordinate mentor schedules, roles, and responsibilities during WIM programming.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and debriefs for mentors and staff after activities.
- Support onboarding related to safety protocols, program philosophy, and sport-specific expectations.
**5. Program Leadership & Innovation**
- Ensure programming reflects Indigenous values, cultural safety, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Incorporate youth voice into program design and improvement.
- Identify new partnerships, funding opportunities, and recreation ideas to expand program impact.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in program leadership, youth recreation, or community programming.
- Strong coordination, planning, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture, values, and land-based practices.
- Ability to lead in dynamic outdoor and indoor environments.
- Experience working with youth facing systemic barriers (asset).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to transport equipment or youth if required.

Pay: $26.25-$27.56 per hour
