**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure work is carried out with proper safe work practices
- Work with Foreman/Lead Hand to resolve issues with electrical installations
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Journeyman Electrician or indentured Apprentice Electrician, Red Seal Qualification is preferred
- Experience working in an industrial or natural energy environment is preferred
- Good knowledge of and ability to interpret the Canadian Electric Code an asset
- Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Microsoft 365 / Office skills required
- Diligent with Safety requirements and programs
- Experience with QAQC paperwork and material management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills

**General Requirements**
- Possess high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements
- Must be a team player & work closely with maintenance, production, engineering and outside services
- Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime and weekends and schedule changes are routine and required aspects of the position
- Must be able to climb ladders

**Physical Demands**
- Must be able to work at heights and handle 35lb load minimum
