QA Automation

**Position**:Senior Quality Assurance Tester

**Status**:Permanent, Full Time - St-Laurent, Québec

**Reports to**:Vice President Software Development

**Role Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- With the team, build a quality assurance mindset and the strategy the meets the business goals.
- Review; user stories, requirements, non-functional requirements and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop a test automation infrastructure that is part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Execute exploratory, functional, non-functional and regression tests.
- Identify, document and track defects.
- Stay up to date with testing tools and strategy

**Skills**

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior QA;
- You understand the product life cycle and how to wisely reduce time to market with the right quality and testing effort.
- Have Front-end testing expertise.
- Have been exposed to IoT and the challenges it poses.
- Master Python, JavaScript, Cypress, Swagger or Postman.
- Have basic knowledge of MongoDB or any nonSQL DB.
- Have basic knowledge of MySQL or any SQL DB.
- Have basic Knowledge of AWS EC2, ECS.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s in engineering
- Proficiency in English and French (oral and written)

**Aperçu du rôle**

**Responsabilités**
- Avec l'équipe, construire un état d'esprit d'assurance qualité et la stratégie qui répond aux objectifs de l'entreprise.
- Réviser les user stories, les exigences, les exigences non fonctionnelles et les documents techniques afin de fournir un feedback opportun et significatif.
- Développer une infrastructure d'automatisation des tests qui fait partie du pipeline CI/CD.
- Exécuter des tests exploratoires, fonctionnels, non fonctionnels et de régression.
- Identifier, documenter et suivre les défauts.
- Se tenir au courant des outils et de la stratégie de test

**Compétences**

Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en tant que Senior QA ;
- Vous comprenez le cycle de vie d'un produit et comment réduire judicieusement le temps de mise sur le marché grâce à un effort de qualité et de test approprié.
- Vous avez une expertise en matière de tests frontaux.
- Vous avez été exposé à l'IoT et aux défis qu'il pose.
- Maîtriser Python, JavaScript, Cypress, Swagger ou Postman.
- Avoir une connaissance de base de MongoDB ou de toute autre base de données non SQL.

**Qualifications**
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (oral et écrit)
