We are looking for a talented Process Quality Coach to join our Global Transformation & Value Realization Enablement team whose focus is supporting a company wide transformation in working in digital ways. This role will focus on establishing and coaching others on our operating standards, frameworks and methodologies. This person will need to be skilled in collaborating across a complex matrix organization, understanding complex control requirements, knowledgeable in project management methodologies and teaching others. We operate in a world where time-to-market and evolving business priorities drive our plans. The person who fills this role will need to be resilient, versatile, and equally effective in adapting to change as they are following a process.

**What you will be doing**:

- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of project management standards across a variety of methodologies with the objective of sustainable operational excellence across the organization.
- Support the realization of our change initiatives by providing coaching to transforming teams around our standard ways of working and key control requirements.
- Lead the consolidation and modernization of our process materials to create resources that are current, accessible, clear, and support Sun Life employees in delivering exceptional solutions.
- Plan and conduct quality reviews of our project management and/or software development processes to confirm compliance with required standards.
- Provide coaching and advisory insights on audit principles, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, enhancement of policies, guidelines, etc to our clients.
- Partner with teams to provide leadership, insight, and proactive advice to help mitigate risks that result from control weaknesses that may impact delivery or outcomes.
- Drive and participate in initiatives that target unnecessary process burden for teams and that reflect the needs of our evolving organization. This includes identifying and testing possible solutions, supporting communication, training, and monitoring to ensure long-term success.
- Partner with other similar roles from across the organization to ensure consistency in methods and share best practices in the quality reviews and frameworks used.
- Support team performance by providing coaching, mentorship and training that improves shared knowledge of Sun Life’s processes and requirements and addresses any gaps identified from quality reviews.
- Support the resolution of escalated risks and issues that arise from our monitoring channels such as the analysis of quality review data.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Experience working within a governance, risk, or compliance role within the Financial Services sector
- Experience with a variety of project management methodologies (ex. agile, lean, waterfall)
- An ability to translate complex ideas into actionable and teachable concepts
- Someone who prioritizes learning and the expansion of their knowledge and skills
- A very strong collaborator who easily establishes relationships across an organization to support questing the status-quo, the development of solutions, and information sharing
- Someone who truly enjoys helping others and using their talents to deliver exceptional services to their internal clients
- Willingness to occasionally work some early morning, or late evenings, to meet with global offices.
