Position Overview:
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Employees in this position perform a variety of labouring tasks involving the construction, maintenance and repairs related to wastewater collection and water distribution systems. Duties may include the repair of water main breaks, flushing of distribution systems, thawing distribution systems, and the flushing and cleaning of collection systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License
Certification in Water Distribution and/or Wastewater Collection, or the willingness to obtain certification is an asset.
Ability to perform light and heavy labouring work in an outdoor, dirty environment.
**Job Type**: Casual
