The IT Delivery, Payments, Cards, Data and Portfolios team is undergoing a significant transformation and we’re currently looking for new players to join in on the fun We’re looking for passionate people who are ready to work with us to implement strategies related to transforming the ecosystem under our Vice-President.

We’re seeking a Senior IT DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). Your day-to-day work at National Bank will involve working on a major initiative and providing support in a complex field of expertise.

Your role:

- Help operationalize solutions based on CI/CD and cloud best practices
- Fully understand the inventory of services under your responsibility and make sure that documentation (e.g., CMDB & technical documentation) is compliant and kept up to date
- Be responsible for the integrity of your ecosystem services and the availability and recovery processes of associated services (periodic maintenance, DR, BCP, etc.) with your vision of automation and continuous improvement
- Ensure a good level of follow-up on service use and performance (state of health, observability, flow metrics, etc.) in all critical environments
- Be involved in analyzing the causes of major incidents and resolving them
- Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues

- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, Docker, manifest-based deployments)
- In-depth knowledge of support/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Remedy)
- Experience and expertise in AWS cloud systems (e.g., Lambda, EKS, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
- Expertise in cloud solutions automation and optimization
- Experience in microservice/API environments
- Desire to share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues (support, training, and coaching)
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
