Crew Member

We are looking for hard working, reliable individuals with a positive attitudes to complete our team. We have permanent positions available as well as seasonal spots for College/University students looking for full time work from June-August There is room for advancement as we are looking for the right fit to train into a crew lead for next season.

This job is very physically demanding and performed outdoors, so it is not for everyone. We offer a fun working environment and provide wage reviews after one and three months of employment. Plus, you won't need to pay for a gym membership while working with us, you'll get your daily workout in while being paid

**Duties**:

- Assisting alongside the auger machine clearing out post holes (hand digging sometimes required)
- Utilizing tools such as shovels, hand tools, and clam diggers
- Pouring, mixing, and leveling concrete
- Setting up and aligning post holes
- Assisting with fence and deck installations, pre-fabrication/project preparation
- Communicating with team members on the job

**Requirements**:

- Heavy lifting - 50lbs +
- Physically fit, able to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic carpentry skills are an asset but not required - Measuring skills, operating hand and power tools etc.
- Mixing and pouring concrete experience is an asset but not required
- Moving materials and assisting on decking projects
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn
- Reliable, dedicated and open to working towards moving up in position to a Crew Lead (position can lead to a permanent year round opportunity for the right individual(s))
- Must have reliable transportation to get to a from meet up location in West Brant each morning (we start between 7 and 7:30 am).

**You will NOT be required to drive your own vehicle to and from the various job locations. Please note we are only accepting applicants from Brantford and Brant County (Paris, St. George and surrounding) at this time.**
