As a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist, you will be responsible for working with internal customers and suppliers to meet project and operational supply requirements. As a SCM Specialist you will have a broad supply chain experience across the spend management life cycle. The SCM Specialist will be capable of cross functional leadership including collaboration, communication and influence at various levels at MasTec Canada.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Conduct full cycle procurement, P2P including sourcing, procurement and contract management
- Lead cross functional team activities in the execution of the supply strategy, and as applicable, sourcing activities (RFI, RFP, RFQ), contract negotiation, formation, final internal approvals, and reporting - Manage supplier relationships
- Administer vendor onboarding
- Assist in developing and provide training for supply chain reporting and analytics; supply chain process, tools and strategy
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Proactively recognize supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and create greater efficiencies organize and dispatch project and equipment purchases
- Ensure priorities are handled effectively and efficiently
- Provide information sharing with team members in a timely manner
- Effectively use systems and processes to measure, monitor, manage and impact performance
- Occasional travel to field locations and supplier facilities, may be required
- Other duties as required

**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in a supply chain role; experience in industrial construction is an asset
- SCMP accreditation is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, SharePoint and PowerBI,
- Experience with process mapping, procurement, accounts payable or project accounting considered an asset
- Experience with an ERP is required; exposure to Vista is an asset
