General Maintenance Technician

Entry Level Technician Position - Responsible for performing tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels / braking systems.
- Perform aircraft maintenance repair/overhaul with the standards set out in the drawings and CMM
- Complete the manufacturing paperwork
- Ensure the work performed complies with current manuals and specifications, drawings and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
- Complete mechanical disassembly and assembly tasks such as;
- Deflate tires
- Using pneumatic tools and machinery
- Removal of wheel hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts
- Cleans hardware and wheels
- Removal of paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast
- Operate hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions
- Assists other departments when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned or required

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
