Located in Sarnia, Ontario, Vision Nursing and Rest Home is a progressive thinking and family oriented home. Here at Vision the care of our residents and satisfaction of our staff come first We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Life Enhancement Aide. (LEA)

Reporting directly to the Director of Care, the LEA provides support to Residents in their social, physical and emotional goals. As a member of the Program Department, the LEA consults with the Nursing Rehab Nurse in order to identify those Residents who would achieve maximum benefit working in LEA led programs.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
Works with a specific caseload of residents who have stated measurable physical, social or emotional goals;
Promotes and directs individual improvement goals using prescribed programs;
Keeps accurate documentation of resident attendance and goals including quarterly reports, progress notes, behaviour records and care planning;
Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Conferences;
Demonstrates appropriate clinical assessment and assignment of interventions that respond to resident recreational and social needs;
Maintains effective communication with the total care team.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Physiotherapy or Kinesiology or related field;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment;
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), interpersonal and administrative skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings

COVID-19 considerations:
PPE required while working onsite. Rapid Antigen Tests taken every shift to ensure resident safety.
