We take our Core Values seriously, and our Team Leaders are essential in making sure those values are modeled for our employees and our clients every day.

We need a great Team Leader in our Richmond, BC office.

At our Richmond office you will find a group of friendly, driven coworkers. The work arrangement is hybrid, but often times we choose to be in the office to benefit from the collaboration and cohesiveness that results when we work together. Richmond is one of our busiest offices, but we still find time for peer recognition and social gatherings.

Awesome people skills aside, our Team Leader will need to be well-versed in managing hazardous building materials projects. If you know your fair share about asbestos, lead, and silica, you could become one of our expert consultants who will develop and execute solutions to keep our clients’ spaces healthy and hazard-free.

**How will you use your Hazardous Materials expertise?**
- Ensure technical excellence and quality in the delivery of all services/products
- Assign, schedule and oversee work completed by Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Technologists and support staff assigned to division
- Proactively manage staffing levels and project costs
- Collaborate with team members across divisions to achieve effective planning, coordination and resource allocation
- Ensure technical excellence and quality in the delivery of all services/products
- Collaborate with other Team Leaders and Operations Managers to recognize and target business development opportunities
- Support marketing and business development activities for the division; including representing the company at trade shows, conferences, client and association events etc.
- Proactively manage staff by managing expectations for training and career/skills development
- Effectively manage client concerns to maintain strong client partnerships.
- Foster a supportive and communicative work environment.
- Participate in the preparation of annual operational budgets and operational/strategic business plans

**Qualifications required for the Team Leader role**:
As we review submissions from applicants, we will be looking for a solid background in Hazardous Materials project success and experience in effective communications with clients.

We will also look for proven ability to effectively manage staff, maintain positive morale, and lead a culture of teamwork and service excellence.

A valid driver’s license, insurance and car are required for this role. Depending on our clients’ requirements, you may be required to undergo security clearances and, periodically, drug and alcohol testing in order to gain access to certain job sites.

We thank all applicants for their interest in a career at Pinchin, however, only those selected to interview will be contacted.

We are committed to employment practices that promote a diverse and inclusive work environment. If you require reasonable accommodation during any stage of the recruitment process, please inform us.

**What’s in it for you?**

When you join the Pinchin team, you will receive competitive compensation, fully covered health and dental benefits that start on your first day, an RRSP matching program, and a standard 37.5-hour work week. Pinchin places a high priority on developing our employees and offers reimbursement for tuition and professional membership dues, support in achieving designations, and an internal training program to assist you in achieving your goals.

At Pinchin, everything we do is driven by our passion to provide exemplary quality and service to our clients in order to advance safety and environmental improvement in our communities. As a Team Leader, you will play an essential role in developing our business, mentoring junior professionals, and contributing to Pinchin’s continued growth and success.
