Tyme Cannabis Co. is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic **Key Holder/Cannabis Educator** for our Hamilton location. The Key Holder will assist in leading, a team of Cannabis Educators, driving profitability and operational excellence while ensuring an elevated customer experience.

**Responsibilities**

**Clients**
- Deliver customer service excellence through unforgettable and custom interactions for each and every client
- Consistently provide an elevated customer experience focused on educating our guests on the product and providing a comfortable shopping experience
- Comfortable with reviewing government issued photo identification, to prevent the sale of Cannabis to anyone under the age of 19
- Assist the General Manager and the Assistant Manager in the execution of our standard operating procedures
- Facilitate customer transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.

**Product**
- Maintain in depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industry-wide trends
- Maintain the inventory control system and performance of any required product counts

**Facilities**
- Supports new hires through mentorship, coaching and collaboration
- Provides positive feedback to the team in the absence of the GM or AGM
- Ensure the store is welcoming, clean and functional at all times for clients and team members
- Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
- Assist with store opening and end of day reports as required

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- The following arerequirements to be considered for this job**:Minimum 19 years of age,** **have or the ability to obtain a CannSell (standard or expert) Certificate.**:

- Demonstrated leadership ability, previous Key Holder experience preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting
- High School Diploma required
- A strong desire to learn and advance career
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with others as a team
- High level of ethics, values, integrity and trust
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekends and holidays
- A passion for the legal cannabis industry and educating on the use of recreational cannabis is an asset

Education: Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail Key Holder: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer-Facing Sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Cannabis Industry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CannSell Certificate (preferred)
