Collingwood, Canada Living Water Resorts Full time

DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Cleaning of pots, pans, china, flatware, production and service ware, and organize properly to prevent breakage.
2. Stores all cleaned inventory safely in proper area and maintains cleaning supply inventory.
3. Responsible for informing leadership accordingly for ordering cleaning products on order boards.
4. Keeps work area and general kitchen areas clean and organized throughout each shift.
5. Mops floor at least once per shift or as needed basis.
6. Keeps full uniform and entire kitchen area clean and organized throughout each shift.
7. Empties garbage and recycling of cans, bottles and cardboard.
8. Organize recycling shed and bins.
9. Clean and organize outside garbage area.
10. Cleans equipment/sanitizes work surfaces.
11. Laundry must be handled at the end of every shift by maintaining cloths & uniform bins to ensure organization and cleanliness.
12. Accept all chemical deliveries and put away product in respective area.
13. Assists cooks when required.
14. Assists in basic food preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Maturity and reliability are a must. Must satisfactorily complete training in Living Water Resort kitchen to attain necessary standards.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Previous experience an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Works the majority of the time indoors
- Exercise care when handling knives, glassware and dishes
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift at least 30lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand for an average of 8 hours per shift in a hot and humid dish washing area.
