Qualifications:

- Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police station.
- Experience supporting children and youth with cognitive, physical and/or behavioral needs is mandatory
- Experience supporting children and youth with self regulation strategies is an asset
- High 5 Principles of Healthy Child Development or willingness to acquire.
- Behavior Management Systems, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (or an approved equivalent) would be a strong asset.
- SSW, CYW, Psychology, BSW, EA experience would be a strong asset.
