**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:
**Functional Responsibilities**:

- Industry recognition as leader in the field of dams (or dams and hydropower) engineering.
- Lead the recruitment of Dams & Hydropower staff in US West and integrate them into our Dams Service Line and the GHD business more broadly
- Assist in recruiting Dams & Hydropower staff across North America.
- Work with GHD leaders to grow market share in dams and hydropower for GHD in US West and North America more broadly.
- Work with our Dams & Hydropower leaders globally to develop and execute strategic plans for growth of our Dams & Hydropower business in North America.
- Manage and serve as Project/Program Manager of Dams & Hydropower projects in North America.
- Provide technical leadership in design of dams and hydropower projects and other associated services including dam safety.
- Develop client relationships, identify opportunities and lead pursuits, lead and input to proposals and undertake other business development practices as necessary to build our dams and hydropower practice.
- Ongoing compliance with GHD’s Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health Safety & Rehabilitation Systems.
- Manage projects including scope, schedule, budgets, amendments, risk, and quality.
- Work directly with the North American and Global Dams & Hydropower groups and be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally as required for projects.
- Work with our Dams & Hydropower leaders globally to integrate international resources onto projects and collaborate in delivery of projects

**Key Performance Indicators**:
Growth
- Grow the team in North America by 30 FTE engineers in dams and hydropower in three years
- Revenue - grow annual revenue by $10 million in the Americas in three years

New Business
- Maintain an Opportunity Pipeline in alignment with the Revenue goals.
- Evaluate current client base and help create 5 new key clients for the US West Dams & Hydropower Group.
