**Job Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service.

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions.
- Provide information about the restaurant’s offerings and assist guests with any special requests.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in managing orders and payments.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to helping guests feel valued.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about restaurant operations are essential for success in this role.
