**Job Purpose**
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Actively training Operators on the plant procedures
- Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations
- Conducting daily, weekly and monthly plant checks
- Performing general cleaning duties throughout the day
- Operate loader and conveyor systems
- Operate sulphur remelt pit pumps and piping systems
**Qualifications/Competencies**
The individual in this role will have:
- A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent
- A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing
- Heavy equipment (loader) operation experience
- Special training in boilers, treaters, shaker/centrifuge, pumps (all) and loader
- Valid and current safety tickets including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG
- A strong attention to detail, communication skills and a profound ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
- Proven ability to work well under a limited amount of supervision
- Proven ability to demonstrate strong teaching methods regarding all processes in the plant, including; safety operations, oil treating & blending, waste processing and water disposal
