The Director will also collaborate closely with internal teams, including finance and actuarial experts, to ensure the integrity of pricing programs, premium rate-setting, and overall system performance. - Develop objectives, budgets, and plans to ensure optimal resource allocation and service delivery.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of engaged professionals committed to delivering exceptional risk management services.
- Ensure alignment with broader corporate goals by collaborating with the Planning and Priorities Committee and other internal teams.
- Monitor trends and developments in risk management at the provincial, national, and international levels, recommending new strategies as appropriate.
- Champion a customer-focused culture, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Your experience and skills:

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field; MBA is an asset.
- Extensive management experience in risk management, insurance, or a related field, with a deep understanding of WCB policies and legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
