Part Time Truck Driver

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a culture of safety on the road.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.
- Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading freight.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid truck driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Experience in automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick resolutions to minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining delivery logs and records.

Pay: $25.31-$27.38 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 15 per week
