Tot Spot Academy is a locally owned and operated daycare that is looking to add one more professional, organized, caring, staff to our team. This position is within our Preschool classroom.

We are a group of young, professional women who work collaboratively to create the best childcare environment possible. We are a clean, well maintained, fun loving childcare program. We are looking for another teacher to start and continue on FULL TIME in September.

Hours: 9:00 - 5:30 with 30 minute break; MUST BE AVALIABLE FULL TIME MONDAY - FRIDAY 9:00 - 5:30 PM

Benefit package after 3 months
Health Spending account after 1 year

Paid time off is:

- two weeks
- all statutory holidays (10 per year)
- the week between Christmas and New Years

Successful applicants must:

- Have a passion for working with children
- Be professional in all working relationships, attire and attitude
- Well spoken and written
- Caring and want to make a difference in the lives of young children
- Punctual with great time management skill
- Engaging with a passion for teaching
- Organized and able to multitask
- Eager to be hands on
- Able to work collaboratively with a group of amazing women.
- Have working at Tot Spot Academy as a long term plan

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Help with program planning and execution (please note we do NOT follow the FLIGHT program plan)
- Run a classroom with another certified teacher
- Engage, encourage and support children on their learning adventure
- Provide excellent supervision and support for children of all ages

Successful applicants will:

- Provide an up to date cover letter and resume
- Have some knowledge about Tot Spot (viewed our website/social media)
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid
- Obtain a clean criminal record and child welfare check

**Note: must currently reside in St. Albert or surrounding area.**

Wage listed does NOT include Top-Up
