Banquet Server

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during events and banquets, ensuring that all guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and event staff to deliver food and beverages efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event space during and after service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards.

**Skills**
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food handling practices.
- Background in food service or restaurant operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality principles within the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy events.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others enhance their experience.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Full Service Servers: 1 year (preferred)
