**You will work under the guidance of a team lead & will be expected to**:

- Promptly follow-up with the leads provided to convert them to live deals.
- Develop your database of clients seeking mortgages.
- Develop knowledge of lender products, underwriting criteria, and how to read credit reports.
- Gather & manage confidential documents including credit reports & employment verifications.
- Advise clients on options & clearly explain the commitment details.
- Compare & discuss interest rates, lender fees, and closing costs to help the borrowers decide their best options.
- Ensure that loans & disclosures are compliant with all relevant regulations & laws
- Develop contacts & professional relations with referral partners.
- Coordinate all relevant paperwork between lenders & borrowers.
- Be comfortable in explaining the mortgage process to clients in a simple & easy to understand manner.
- Act with integrity

**What you bring to the table**:

- Have completed the mortgage agent certification program.
- MIN. OF 1 YEAR year experience as a mortgage agent required. We aren't hiring newly licensed agents at this time.
- Must have experience in closing deals at your current brokerage.
- No history of termination or license expiry.
- Ability to learn quickly & invest in your future with consistent efforts. Bonus Assets:

- Multilingual (able to speak English & at least one other language)
