Hotel Maintenance Attendant

The Maintenance Attendant is responsible for ensuring that Fantasyland Hotel is in optimum operating condition by performing preventative maintenance on appliances and equipment within the hotel.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Performing minor repairs on the various appliances and equipment in Fantasyland Hotel, such as; kitchen appliances, restaurant and bar appliances, and laundry equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance of guest rooms and meeting rooms.
- Conducting daily maintenance checks and completes tasks in a timely fashion.
- Maintaining A/C and heating units in guest rooms, as well as HVAC equipment and controls.
- Conducting regulatory checks on electrical equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Minor plumbing repairs such as restructuring bathroom fixtures, Jacuzzi pumps, and pipe and drainage repairs.
- Ensuring that the day-to-day log book is maintained.
- Conducting inventory checks and order supplies when required.
- Other duties as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a general maintenance role in a hotel or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., as well as the ability to work at heights when required.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a full-time position that is required to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, night shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour
