_**Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker provides resident-focused personal care, in a home-like environment, respecting the individuality and dignity of each resident/family within an interdisciplinary team, consistent with the Mission, vision, and values of Bonnechere Manor.**_

Bonnechere Manor, a highly regarded municipal (not-for-profit) long-term care home located in the Town of Renfrew, Ontario, is owned and operated by the County of Renfrew and City of Pembroke. Since 1958, a wide-range of quality long-term programs and services including 24-hour nursing care, accommodations, meals, as well as physiotherapy programs and a variety of social and recreational activities have been provided to the 180 residents that call the Manor ‘home’. Bonnechere Manor also offers a variety of community services including respite care, adult day programs and support groups. We moved into our brand new state-of-the-art facility in 1995, and have once again achieved a Four-Year Accreditation by Accreditation Canada.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent as per O. Reg. 79/10 of the _Long-Term Care Homes Act_, _2007._
- Certificate - Food Safety Awareness Program recognized by a Public Health Unit.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care setting considered an asset.
- Therapeutic, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team approach, and adapt to changing situations.
- Physically capable of performing assigned duties within a flexible work schedule inside a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to meet, and maintain health requirement standards as per Long-Term Care Legislation.

**Salary**: From $26.98 per hour
