Summerhill Market is looking for a **Receiver & Grocery Clerk** to join the Receiving & Grocery team at our **Forest Hill** location.

**Hybrid Grocery Clerk, Receiving, and Parking Lot Attendant**

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team in a **hybrid role** that supports **Receiving, Parking Lot Attendant duties, and Grocery Clerk responsibilities**. This position plays a key role in keeping our store running smoothly by ensuring **efficient receiving and stocking of products, assisting customers inside and outside the store, and maintaining organization in the parking lot to prevent congestion.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Receiving & Stocking**
- Assist in **unloading trucks, verifying shipments, reviewing invoices, and ensuring proper storage of merchandise**.
- Stock and rotate products on shelves, **ensuring proper merchandising, quality, and accessibility for customers**.
- Handle product damages and credits according to company policies.
- Build and maintain visually appealing product displays.
- Keep storage and receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

**Parking Lot Attendant Duties**
- Monitor and manage **traffic flow in the parking lot** to prevent congestion.
- Collect and return shopping carts to designated areas.
- Assist customers in loading groceries into their vehicles when needed.
- Ensure the parking lot and exterior store areas remain clean and safe.

**Grocery Clerk Responsibilities**
- Provide **friendly and proactive customer service**, answering questions and helping customers locate products.
- Bag groceries at the front cash and perform carry-outs when necessary.
- Maintain **store cleanliness**, including aisles, shelves, and coolers/freezers.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Follow all company policies, including loss prevention, pricing accuracy, and health and safety regulations.

**Skillset & Requirements**
- Passion for food - **you love quality products and great customer experiences**:

- Strong customer service skills - **a friendly attitude, patience, and the ability to de-escalate situations when needed.**:

- Ability to **work efficiently across multiple areas** while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous grocery, retail, or food industry experience is an asset. **Food Safety Handler’s Certification is preferred.**:

- Comfortable working **indoors and outdoors**, in cooler/freezer environments, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn our **ERP and inventory ordering systems**.
- Flexible availability for **morning, evening, weekend, and short-notice shift coverage.**
