Then come join an Industry Leader’s Team by becoming a Hairstyling Instructor. **_QUALIFICATIONS_**: - Proper certification in Hairstyling from a recognized educational training facility - Three years minimum previous industry experience in Hairstyling. - Demonstrable an ability to be a problem solver, a team player, to take initiative and be self-motivated. - Willingness to complete all MC College and provincial educational requirements. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **_ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_** Under the guidance of the school director and other members of the education department the Instructor is responsible for: - Adhere to and motivate students with the concept and values of the mission statement; "MC College empowers Future Professional for the Beauty and Fashion industry with skills to change their lives and enjoy rewarding careers." - Represent the college in a professional manner to the students and clients, with a professional image and positive presentation. - To coach and mentor salon simulation skills. - To coach and mentor self-marketing skills, salon simulation, sales and promotional techniques, and methods to build and retain a clientele for each graduating student. **_COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS_**: - Compensation: base salary with monthly bonus programs. - Benefits: - Free salon and spa services - Extended Health and Dental care - Employee Assistance Plan **Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour Additional pay: - Bonus pay **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Store discount - Tuition reimbursement Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Saskatoon, SK S7K 0B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
