**Core Purpose and Essence of the Position**:
The Material Handler is responsible for operating a Forklift Truck in a warehouse and is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the truck inclusive of care and maintenance.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
- Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary.
- Report quality variances. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Perform daily inspection of machinery prior to use. Record results of inspection as outlined and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
- Ensure forklifts are scheduled for preventative maintenance on a regular basis.
- Conduct physical inventories as required.
- Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Comply with the organizations environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
- Rotate stock according to date coding.
- Participate in company-sponsored training relating to material handling, safety and quality.
- Operate Radio Frequency (RF) equipment (training will be provided)
- Perform any other duties as required.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Forklift License: Raymond Reach
- Proficiency in the English language and written
- Good communication skill
- Possess basic computer skills
- Consistent, Responsible and Dependable.
- Flexibility in working various shifts during Promotion
- Willingness to learn and broaden job Function knowledge

**MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma
- The ability to lift up to 30-60 pounds
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a Warehouse environment

**COMPENSATION**:
Competitive base salary for the position in the Greater Toronto Area with a very generous benefit package.
