**Job Overview**

We are looking for a **Produce Assistant** to join our team This multi-faceted role involves **driving**/**picking up produce and local products, inspecting quality, and organizing fresh produce** to ensure our customers receive the best possible goods. If you’re passionate about fresh food, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**

**Driver Duties**:

- Safely pick up and deliver local products from farmers, producers and wholesalers
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Follow schedules and ensure timely drop-offs

**In store Produce Duties**:

- Inspect, sort, and organize fresh produce and local products
- Ensure product quality meets Farmers on Duty’s standards
- Properly store and display produce to maintain freshness
- Assist cashiers with inventory management and restocking

**Quality Control Duties**:

- Check all incoming products for quality, freshness, and accuracy
- Communicate with farmers, producers, and customers to resolve quality concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

**What We’re Looking For**
- A **valid driver’s license** and clean driving record
- Experience in **food handling, produce, or warehouse work** (preferred but not required)
- Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs** and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong **attention to detail** and a passion for quality food
- Great **customer service** and communication skills
- Interest in supporting **local farms and sustainable food systems**
