We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative/Junior Buyer our Edmonton Off Highway Division located in the west end of Edmonton.

The Gear Centre Off-Highway Divisions supplies parts and service for equipment in the construction, mining, forestry, rail, oil field, material handling and agricultural industries. As Canada’s premier Service Centre for ZF, Dana and Carroro Off Highway products our factory trained technicians, leading edge dyno testing and mobile service trucks are well equipped to handle virtually any off highway equipment repair.

**Position Overview**

**The Inside Sales Representative/Junior Buyer** is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by supplying parts to customers. This will require determining the customer’s needs through parts identification and effective communication. You will use catalogs both electronic and paper, and be able to effectively use our ERP system for creating quotes and repair estimates, and the invoicing of parts and service.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Locating required parts through catalogues (electronic and printed)
- Preparing quotes and invoicing product to customers
- Receive parts orders from customers in person at sales counter and over the phone
- Sourcing and ordering parts from internal and external sources
- Organizing the prompt delivery of goods to customers Picking and packaging of parts orders for shipping to customers
- Shipping and receiving of parts and components
- Determine customer needs and provide information about additional products or services offered by the group of companies
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to determine customer needs
- Receiving of incoming parts stock orders and accurately warehousing within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment
- Follow all ISO procedures

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of counter sales experience in a parts, retail and/or customer service environment
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Some mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
- Multi-tasking and time management skills
- Self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
