**Position Information**:
The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of approximately 5000 learners each year at TOH.

The coordinator will liaise with the academic Institutional coordinators and the Hospital coordinators to ensure all mandatory requirements are met, will maintain a Learning management system and electronic registration system that will track all learners and ensure they are prepared to commence their clinical rotations. The coordinator must ensure all all learners of The Ottawa Hospital are aware of hospital policies and that they abide by them.

The Coordinator will work with the Manager of Education to ensure the Professional Association of Residents of Ontario (PARO) and Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO) employment contract is upheld to the highest standard.

The coordinator will support the Manager of Education and the Education office to promote, support, and integrate academic initiatives within the hospital environment.

**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, 8 hour shifts.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Post secondary education in community college with business/secretarial/communication diploma;
- Experience within a healthcare environment;
- Customer service skills - courteous and respectful;
- Social media proficiency;
- Excellent computer skills:

- Ability to type at speed with accuracy;
- Good knowledge of iProcurement;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
