We are looking for talented clerks who are passionate about dazzling our customers with exceptional shopping experiences

As a clerk, your work will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction.

You will keep sales counters stocked with attractively displayed products; prepare, make and package department-related products; provide high-quality customer service; check product quantity and quality; package and stamp prices on products; carry out product rotation; ensure that the department is clean and tidy; adhere to company standards and policies in your work; and perform any other tasks deemed necessary as part of the job and/or by your supervisor.

Job qualifications

Relevant, role-related knowledge and experience; the drive to provide a high quality of service and product to customers; an ability to work in cold conditions and lift weights in excess of 20 kg; self-reliance; teamwork.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and Serving In-Store Dishes (Hot and Cold)
- To receive product and check invoices ensuring quantity is accurate and quality of product meets with store standards
- Slice Meats and Cheeses for Customer Use
- To clean the work area ensuring the sanitation of the department meets with store standards
- To follow the store safety procedures at all times
- Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Maintain product displays and follow store procedures
- Assisting customers whenever possible
- Other duties as assigned

Qualified Applicants will have:

- Able to stand for length of the shift (Up to 8hrs)
- Work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Able to work in a temperature controlled environment (Hot and Cold)
- Follow store safety and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to work various shifts - days, evenings and week-ends.
- Represent the company in a professional way at all times.
- Food Handling Experience is an asset
- Previous Experience an asset
