**Saskatchewan Health Authority**
The Saskatchewan Health Authority acknowledges Saskatchewan as the traditional territory of First Nations and Métis people, which includes Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan with a budget of over $5 billion and employing more than 45,000 employees and physicians. Together, we are responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality health care for the entire province. We are driven by the commitment to improve health care for Saskatchewan people. We are working together to better co-ordinate health services across the province to ensure you receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time, and by the right provider, wherever you live in Saskatchewan.
The SHA serves a provincial population of 1.18 million, with infrastructure and services that consists of 245 facilities with 3,170 acute care beds. The SHA provides provincially coordinated quality, patient-centered services, such as Acute hospital-based care, Long Term Care, Mental Health and Addiction Services, Primary Health Care, Public Health, and many other community-based clinical programs designed to promote and maintain health of the population.
The **Vice President of Integrated Northern Health (VP)** is a critical leadership role, with a unique focus on addressing the healthcare needs of Northern Saskatchewan. You will play a pivotal role in the integration and advancement of mental health and addictions services, primary healthcare, and acute care services across this vast and diverse region. In partnership with the Physician Executive of Integrated Northern Health, you will co-lead the development and delivery of healthcare services, ensuring that both clinical excellence and operational efficiency are achieved. As part of SHA’s Executive Leadership Team, you will help shape and execute strategies that reflect the distinctive healthcare challenges of the North, with a focus on mental health, addictions, and culturally appropriate care.
In this role, you will bring innovative leadership to the integration of mental health and addictions services within Northern Saskatchewan, driving the alignment of provincial mental health strategies and ensuring they are responsive to local needs. Your leadership will help bridge gaps in service delivery, addressing complex health challenges and fostering a client-centric, culturally safe healthcare environment.
You bring more than 10 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare administration, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in Northern Saskatchewan. Your background may include experience in mental health and addictions services, along with a strong track record of integrating care across complex systems. A visionary leader, you have a passion for improving health outcomes in underserved populations and are equipped with strategic, financial, and interpersonal skills necessary to navigate the complexities of rural and northern healthcare. A Master’s degree in a relevant field would be an asset, as is a commitment to driving innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery.
