**Position Details**

The position is responsible for removing all waste/recycling and could use multiple lifts at various heights on campus. This position might be responsible for deliveries of supplies and equipment for the Caretaking department. The successful applicant would also be available for some pest control and janitorial work (i.e. floor scrubbing, carpet cleaning, floor refinishing, using a back vacuum, and general cleaning,). Assisting with the completion of minor maintenance projects, filter changes, event setups, operating cleaning equipment (i.e. forklift, polishers, auto scrubbers, burnishers, and other cleaning equipment); adhering to standard operating procedures and safe work practices. Use of AI robot cleaning equipment is an asset.

**Position Qualifications**
- Effective English reading, verbal and written communication skills at the appropriate level for the position
- Reliable, positive, and detail oriented with excellent time management skills, safety conscious
- Delivery experience, use of vehicle lifts, and forklift operation would be an asset
- TMA, Word, and Excel knowledge
- Experience with heavy duty cleaning equipment; current WHMIS certification is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (i.e. including bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing, and pulling, regular lifting of 25 kg and occasional lifting of 50 kg) in a safe and efficient manner
- A proven ability to maintain effective working relationships and provide quality customer service
- Standard first aid and CPR certification is desired
- Some experience with supervising would be considered an asset
- Criminal record check
- Driver’s Abstract

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,135.00 - $3,433.00 monthly

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,135.00 - $3,729.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 3)
