Total Fire Solutions, a division of the Total Group of Companies, is an industrial service company specializing in fire protection services. This includes but is not limited to alarms, extinguishers, inspections, and servicing. Based out of Red Deer, we service the entire province of Alberta.

Total Fire Solutions is actively seeking a full time Fire Extinguisher Technician to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, permanent position that requires occasional evening or weekend work.

Under the direct supervision of the Fire Service Technician, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:

- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance
- Perform general shop duties
- Occasional field work
- Working with pressurized systems / chemicals
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Safety driven
- Positive attitude

To be considered or this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Have a valid drivers licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Be able to produce a satisfactory driving abstract
- Be physically fit with the ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently

Be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including working at heights
- Be willing and able to work outdoor, in varying weather conditions
- Be able to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

**Applicants with previous experience in a similar role or have NFPA 10 certification will be given priority selection.**

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
