Vaccum Tanker Az Driver

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- **Must** have valid **Ontario AZ Driver's** License with a suitable drivers abstract
- **Must** have previous experience operating a **Vacuum Truck or Tanker**:

- **Must reside within 60 km from Beamsville, Ontario**:

- Previous environmental or related experience an asset
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
- Professional and trustworthy, with a customer focus to his/her work
- Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Bilingual English/French or other languages an asset.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide vacuum services in support of daily operations.
- Communicate daily with management
- Complete daily inspection/Pre and Post trip and determine required maintenance of vac truck
- Follow safe driving practices, abide by all provincial traffic laws. Report any violations immediately.
- Inspection and maintain hoses, fittings, and associated equipment before use. Report any faults immediately to Supervisor.
- Follow MTO/TDG/MOE or applicable provincial regulations with regards to the disposal of goods.
- Responsible for fueling of truck before then end of each day.
- Complete daily paperwork including work orders, BOLs, manifests, logs, hazard assessments, etc. and hand in on a daily basis.
- Help plant operators when needed
- Wear required PPE at all times including, hard hat, safety glasses, steel toed boots, coveralls, etc. Participating in job specific and health & safety training as required
- Operating his/her position in an efficient and safe manner
- Completing work related documentation and reporting
- Follow all established organizational policies and procedures.

- Perform work in a safe manner, so as not to endanger oneself or others.
- Reporting workplace hazards, accidents or other occurrences that may pose a risk to the organization or the safety of oneself or others.
- Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board Act, Ontario Human Rights Code and Employment Standards Act.
- Participate in team/staff meetings when required.
- Work in a manner that preserves confidentiality and minimizes risk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
