**Position Overview**: *

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Installation, repair and maintenance of all network infrastructure and customer equipment.
- Provide professional services at customer sites including but not limited to; Outdoor antennae and mounting fixtures, indoor ethernet cabling, configuration and troubleshooting various types of wireless equipment and switchgear.
- Work with the NOC to effectively oversee and execute all Field Services activities. This includes providing superior customer service when scheduling and coordinating installations and service calls.
- Complete site surveys at potential new customer locations by reporting/documenting conditions and installation considerations to project management team members.
- Participate in Xplornet’s Health & Safety Program, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. The technician is responsible for the maintenance and use of tools and safety equipment according to company policy and manufacturers guidelines. Technicians must participate in all required safety training as directed.
- A relevant Diploma/Degree or a combination of practical work experience and education.
- Previous field experience considered an asset.
- Fall pro, working at heights considered an asset.
- The ability to effectively problem solve.
- Must be able to Multitask.
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Organizational skills.
- Functions well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with wired and wireless network equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Criminal back check will also be conducted, due to government associated customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
