**Fabrication Technician**

Mechatronic Group represents a consortium of companies in automotive, technology, and real estate, headquartered at 455 Signet Drive, North York, ON, Canada. In our **Technology and Innovation department**, we're transforming automation through safe, all-electric, and autonomous development of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV and EVTOL). Our passionate team works diligently to construct a future by addressing high-impact challenges.

We're currently in search of an experienced **Fabrication Technician **to join our team for on-site work. Your primary goal will be to assist the engineering team in all stages of eVTOL manufacturing, primarily focused on fabrication aspects such as cutting, milling, welding, and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including CNC machines [4-axis and 5-axis]
- Fabricate parts and components out of materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber.
- Assist the engineering team in various aspects of eVTOL development.
- Develop high-quality technical documentation for the fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize and improve manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications**
- Vocational training, diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in operating 4 and 5 axis CNC machines.
- Experience working with aluminum and carbon fiber.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as cutting, milling, and welding.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Experienced with hands-on work

**Salary**: $16.31-$33.00 per hour
