Intermediate EDI Consultant

**Job Description**:
The consultant duties and responsibilities for this position include:

- Troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions utilizing EDI
- Interpreting business needs and product requirements into EDI designs and solutions for customers
- Supporting existing customers running SAP with enhancements, optimization, and improvements to EDI business processes
- Delivering projects within timelines and budgets
- Assisting customers with optimizing their use of their EDI software through training, knowledge transfer, and expert guidance
- Proactively seeking professional development opportunities to enhance the ability to service our customers business and technical needs
- Deal virtually with our customers IT and customer service staff as well as trading partners

**Requirements**:
Work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer i.e. are legally eligible to work in Canada

**Preferred skills and experience**:

- Self-driven and proactive nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An affinity for problem-solving and designing solutions
- An interest in understanding, designing, and improving business processes
- Possess EDI knowledge in X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards
- Familiarity with business processes such as manufacturing, sales, distribution, or accounting
- Gentran mapping and development experience
