Toronto, Canada Clean My Space Full time

**Job Title**: In-House Videographer and Editor

**Company**: [Company Name]

**Location**: [Location]

**Position Type**: Part-Time/Full-Time

**About Us**:
Clean Digital Productions Inc. (CDPI) is a Toronto-based, digitally native business with a focus on cleaning. Founded in 2006 by Melissa Maker, Clean My Space was (and still is) a cleaning service company. She spun that off into a new company comprising a series of digital properties and assets. CDPI creates digital cleaning content ‘for the rest of us’ (read: people who don’t like cleaning) through the brand name Clean My Space for a worldwide audience. Our mission is centered around helping people find better and faster ways to clean and live better lives through incremental change. We are a small, respectful team who care about one another and like to have fun at work. Work-life balance is a part of our DNA.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Video Production**: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for our YouTube channel, adhering to brand guidelines and style preferences. Guidance and feedback from Melissa will be available.
- **Scripting and Storyboarding**: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling video concepts, scripts, and storyboards that resonate with our target audience.
- **Filming**: Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices, to capture professional-quality footage both in-studio and on location.
- **Editing**: Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut for social content, etc.), incorporating visual effects, transitions, audio and graphics as needed.
- **Optimization**: Optimize videos for maximum engagement, including adding captions, thumbnails, and metadata, and ensuring videos are properly formatted for various platforms and devices.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the team to ensure video content aligns with overall content strategy and goals. Take feedback and analytics into account and adapt as needed.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in video production and editing, suggesting new ideas and techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our videos. ‘Same same’ won’t keep us ahead of the curve
- **Project Management**: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content and to maintain our schedule.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Solid understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and audio.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts and ideas into compelling video content. Good sense of humor
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices, as well as experience with Instagram and TikTok analytics SEO principles, and video analytics is a plus.
- A passion for cleaning and home organization is desirable but not required.

**Benefits**:

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible work schedule (part-time or full-time options available).
- Opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources to support your work.
- Chance to make a meaningful impact by contributing to a growing YouTube channel with a dedicated audience.
