**Athletic Director Job Description**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Athletic Director** to lead our comprehensive racquet and sports programming at our private club, a premier 200,000 square foot facility.

This pivotal role requires a strong leader who will shape and grow our athletic offerings, ensuring a high-quality experience for all members. Offerings include tennis, squash, racquetball, pickleball, padel, swimming and basketball.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program and Strategy**: Oversee all racquet and sports programs, including strategic planning and development of engaging, high-quality programs and events for each sport offered by the club. These programs will be executed by our pros and sports staff.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of racquet sport professionals, coaches, and program coordinators.
- **League Management**: Direct and organize all athletic league play, including scheduling, logistics, and ensuring fair play.
- **Operational Oversight**: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all athletic facilities and programs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience in athletic program management, preferably within a private club or high-end facility.
- **Racquet Sports**: A strong background and working knowledge in at least one racquet sport (e.g., tennis, pickleball, squash).
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and team leadership.
- **Bonus**: Current certification in a racquet sport is a plus, as there is an **optional opportunity to coach** and earn additional revenue.

**Compensation**:
This position offers a competitive **base salary** complemented by a **commission structure** based on program and club performance.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
