Bus Driver

**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a bus on designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers throughout the journey.
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, particularly those with mobility challenges.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus, conducting routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Educate passengers about safety protocols and provide clear communication regarding routes and schedules.
- Document any incidents or irregularities during trips accurately.
- Foster a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service to all passengers.

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working with children or in senior care settings is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues that may arise with the bus.
- Excellent writing skills for documentation purposes.
- A valid commercial driving license is required, along with a clean driving record.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
