**Lead Mechanical Estimator - Join Our Team in Corunna, Ontario**

In this role, you'll use your expertise in heavy industrial construction and plant maintenance to shape the success of our projects. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Mentor and guide the Estimating Team.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, and contract documents.
- Develop estimates for structural, mechanical, and piping work.
- Provide constructability insights and attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Generate independent estimates and proposals.
- Evaluate RFPs for constructability.
- Prepare Project Execution Plans, and quantity and cost estimates.
- Review and analyze contracts and historical data.
- Manage subcontractor/vendor bids and Bid/No-Bid evaluations.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits.
- Enhance estimating procedures.
**What You Bring**:
- 10+ years of experience in Heavy Industrial Construction and Maintenance.
- Expertise in estimation, project management, cost management, construction management, and boiler construction/maintenance.
- Strong Excel skills with proficiency in business and technical writing.
- An engineering degree or relevant certification (PMI/AACE) is a plus.
- Experience with estimating and scheduling software is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Working Conditions**:
- Office-based with occasional travel and extended hours during peak periods.
- Physical activities include sitting, walking, computer work, and climbing during site visits.
