We are looking for an Integration Support Specialist to join our team. Under the direction of the Integration Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, implementing, and supporting the capabilities of the integration platform. You will help onboard integration developers into the platform, providing them with access and guidance on tools and processes to meet their integration needs. This role will bring together the providers and consumers of enterprise APIs through our API Strategy and API Management technology. You will work closely with Digital and Technology (D&T) and business stakeholders to support the development of integration solutions and ensure Manitoba Hydro's business needs are met. You will maintain a deep understanding of technical integration technologies, such as APIs and API Management, in addition to on-prem and iPaaS integration technologies. **_ Responsibilities:_** - Support the day-to-day operations of the Integration Platform's capabilities, such as API Management. - Monitor platform for performance/issues. - Assist users of the Integration Platform with technical challenges. - Respond to moderately complex integration platform incidents. - implementation of new and existing solutions. - Develop APIs and integrations to meet our team's needs. - Research, experiment, and keep abreast of new integration technology. - Contribute to integration standards and best practices. - Contribute ideas to our Integration Strategy, in alignment with our standards and best practices, and provide consultative - advice and expertise on API and Integration scenarios ranging from routine to moderately complex. - Recommend improvements and/or new processes to our processes, practices, and guidelines. - Treating the Integration Platform as a product, assist in improving the platform's capabilities based on the evolving integration - capabilities available in the market and our organizational needs. - Support and communicate our Integration and API First Strategies. - Onboard new developers/teams into integration platform technologies. **_ Qualifications:_** - A four-year degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a university of recognized standing with a minimum of two years of directly related experience demonstrating the skills and qualities required by this position. OR - A two-year diploma in Computer Programming Technology from an institute of recognized standing and a minimum of four MANITOBA HYDRO IS COMMITTED TO DIVERSITY AND EMPLOYMENT EQUITY Reference Code: CO56974334-01 - years of directly related experience demonstrating the skills and qualities required by this position. - Demonstrated knowledge and experience building and supporting APIs and integrations, such as ETL/ELT, pub-sub, - orchestrations, etc. - Demonstrated experience with Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure. - Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps. - Demonstrated experience with monitoring & logging technologies. - Experience with Kusto Query Language would be an asset. - Experience with CI/CD Pipelines would be an asset. - Have general scripting skills (PowerShell), along with knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, - JavaScript, and C#. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning. - Basic knowledge of networking concepts and communication protocols. - Ability to work in a flexible work environment that embraces rapid change, emphasizes continuous learning, and attacks new - challenges. - Self-organized and driven with good control over work priorities. - Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and security. - Must obtain and maintain a current Personnel Risk Assessment and a "Clear" security rating in accordance with Manitoba - Hydro policy P513. - Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Training is required and must be completed prior to transfer date and renewed annually. **_ Salary Range_** Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $27.88-$48.16 Hourly,
