Rocky Mountain Pools & Spas is a family owned concrete and vinyl pool and fibreglass, spa company that has been servicing the Calgary area for over 47 years. We specialize in high-end residential pools, hot tubs, and landscaping projects. We strive to provide high-quality work on a range of backyard products.

The Pool Technician/Installer will report to our Foreman and will be responsible for the day to day service, repair, and installation of various swimming pools, and their components. Our technicians are trained to accurately diagnose, repair, and replace equipment on in-ground swimming pools and spas, including the repair of heaters, pumps, filters, and electrical components.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Installation of pools from start to finish including plumbing, grouting, wall construction, etc.

2. Experience with forming, cribbing, and concrete work.

3. Repairs to existing pools including liners, plumbing, painting, replacement of components, leak detection, etc.

4. Operate a variety of hand and small tools such as shovels, broom, trowels, and more.

5. Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions

6. Be a contact for customers on site - High level communication

7. Possibility of working with our hardscape crew if required

8. Ensure all sites and vehicles meet safety standards and cleanliness

9. Operation of Skid Steer, Mini Excavator, and Track Dumper - is an asset but not required

**Job Requirements**:

- Be comfortable working in all weather conditions that spring, summer, fall and winter may bring
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Valid drivers licence with a clean record
- Ability to perform physical work outside
- Ability to lift minimum 50lbs
- Maintain professionalism while completing all tasks

**Assets**
- Experience in the pool industry (Service, Installation, Chemistry) and/or landscaping industry
- Experience driving a trailer
- Experience with skid steers, excavators - is an asset but not required

We are hiring for both Seasonal and Full-Time positions. We offer above competitive pay based on experience and training and offer a great working environment. Company trucks are provided during work days. Gain greater knowledge about the pool industry from some of the best in the business.
