As a Banana Republic stylist, you will help create aspirational and on trend looks that enhance the customer's emotional connection to the brand. You will be an expert on styling and fashion, with a thorough understanding of designers, brands and seasonal trends. As a stylist, you will contribute to a positive, friendly and inclusive environment that inspires and makes our customers feel welcome. Your goal is to grow the business by genuinely wanting to create an outstanding customer experience. QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 1 year of experience with fashion styling and/or visual fashion retail experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience with visual merchandising strategy and execution - High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Education in Fashion/Retail management is a plus - Passionate about hospitality, fashion and styling - Comfortable engaging with customers - Team player - Champion of Gap Inc. culture - Curious with a “can do” attitude WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Take inspiration from credible and relevant fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that inspiration into action by solving customer styling needs - Connect and engage with customers authentically to understand their styling needs - Serve as a Brand storyteller to create experiences that drive sales and achieve store goals, with the customer as the primary focus - Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with our Words to Live By - Assist in creating an inclusive environment where our customers and employees feel a sense of belonging - Support sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, back of house, as required - Work closely with the Merchandising Leaders to execute day to day visual standards - Responsible for driving results and enhancing the customer experience by ensuring that each visual moment represents the best of the merchandise the store has to offer - Responsible for creating a compelling shopping environment by ensuring elevated execution of all company standards related to the visual presentation of brand merchandise - Responsible for the consistent daily styling and upkeep of all mannequins, bust forms and dress hangers within the location and in alignment with Banana Republic's Brand Aesthetic - Ensures that seasonal styling strategies & standards are implemented and maintained at all times - Execution of brand signage to convey meaningful messaging of brand promotion - Display's a "customer is the priority" mindset at all times - Ability to list and carry 30 pounds **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 25-30 per week **Salary**: From $15.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Employee assistance program - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - Vaughan, ON L4K 5W4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
