Support Workers to join our team.

As a team member we will except the following responsibilities
- Working with elderly patients, and providing personal care,
- Our team members may be asked to help with meal preparation, or help assist a resident with feeding
- light housekeeping
- Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans
- Helping resident with leisure activities
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of resident
- Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a resident
- Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include resident incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.
- Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory
- Strong organizational skills while being able to maintain high standards under pressure
- Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible
- Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various types of patients
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work well as an independent collaborator and as a team
- Ability to comply with standard policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Ability to use computer programs to keep accurate records and documentation
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Must have all documents current including PSW certificate, CPR, vulnerable sector check, N95 mask fit, immunizations, TB, covid-19 vaccinations,

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stoney Creek, ON L8G 1A7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
